We have three lovely fully self-contained townhouses for your stay in Lawrence. Self contained with linen provided these houses are modern and warm. We are also excited that the Clutha Gold Trail (walking/cycling) is now open, we can take bookings anytime.
We have three bedrooms, one Queen with ensuite, one Queen beds, plus two King Singles we also have two double sofa beds suitable for children. These houses are great for families or group bookings.
We can cater for up to three meals a day for groups of 10 or less and staying more than one night. Packed lunches are also available, on request.
It is a very short walk to the cafes and gift shops that Lawrence has to offer.
We are now running Lawrence Bike Transfers, phone (03) 485 9127 or 027 485 9247 with a custom built bike trailer - max 20 bikes. Running daily from Lawrence to anywhere on the Clutha Gold Trail with pickups along the way. Minimum of 6 people. Bookings preferably 24 hours in advance.
Lawrence is well known for gold being struck by Gabriel Read in 1861, for making the first bicycle in NZ and the words for the national anthem were composed in our lovely town.
