Take a break. We have four unique walking trails for you to explore. The Domain is located right behind Ross Place, perfect for enjoying a cuppa after your walk.
This forested recreation reserve is a refreshingly natural space used for walking and biking. The entrance to the Domain is on Gabriel’s Gully Road, where there are nine car parks with one mobility park, a billboard with local history displayed, and old gold mining equipment. The reserve is a well utilised space in the Lawrence community, providing a convenient link between Gabriel’s Gully and Weatherstons Creek.
Enjoy the spring bulbs planted by the Tuapeka Horticultural Society in the late 1800's, test your stamina on the Fitness Track, or simply enjoy a peaceful stroll among the pastoral beauty of the unique trails Steep Street Domain has to offer.
To enter the domain turn right after crossing the bridge to Gabriel's Gully Road, opposite Tuapeka Vintage Club.
