Helen Munro made history in 1861 when she became the first and only woman to discover a major goldfield in Aotearoa New Zealand. Walk in her footsteps as you explore Munro's Gully.
To get to Munro's Gully, drive to Victoria Dam at Milburn Pond, just off Victoria Road. The track in the gully takes you through native bush to a historic water race. Follow the water race into the open. Follow this track up through the pines to Cornishman's Dam.
